Caterpillar came to Razorfish with the problem of creating an experience that combines their current Cat.com with the content around what rental products are available for a location.
This requires updating the backbone JS application for integrating dealers and dealer branches as well as the products that each of those branches have available to rent.
Google maps api integration translates user searches into longitude/latitude which powers additional lookups by region.
Additional services were added to provide pricing information and conversion for different currencies.
