The Adobe Integrated Runtime represents a move forward for application development, taking flash beyond the browser and onto people’s desktops. Creating AIR applications allowed for a single set of code to create an application that would execute across multiple platforms. Later updates of AIR allowed applications to further break into different spaces including installations on TV’s and mobile devices; Android, Blackberry and IOS.

Celebrating the new Razorfish Chicago office at the Merchandise Mart, shiny technology for the reception area featured a 60″ multitouch screen. But just displaying video isn’t a fair use of the screen.
